Check-in & selfies
Applies to version 26.99.5
Check-in is designed to take seconds on a phone while still proving who worked, when and where.
What happens on a scan
1
Worker scans the project QR
The code identifies the site and signs them in if needed.
2
Allow location
Best-effort GPS lets the geofence confirm they are on site.
3
Take a selfie
Required at check-in; it is attached to the shift for the manager.
4
Done
The shift opens. Scanning again later checks them out.
What gets flagged
| Flag | Why |
|---|---|
| Outside geofence | GPS was beyond the project radius. |
| GPS missing / low accuracy | Location was unavailable or imprecise. |
| No selfie | A selfie wasn't captured. |
| New device | First check-in from this phone. |
Device recognition
The first check-in from a given phone is flagged as a new device. After that it is remembered, so repeat scans from the same phone are not flagged.
