The materials catalog defines the items you buy and sell, each with default prices, a unit and a category.
Product types
Simple
One item, one SKU — e.g. a bag of cement.
Variants
One material with several offers, each with its own net/sale price.
Bundle
A composite product whose price rolls up from its components.
Prices & organisation
- Each material carries a default net and default sale price.
- Bundles price by roll-up (sum of parts), roll-up with a discount, or a manual override.
- Materials link to a unit and a category for tidy reporting.
Heads up
Bundles can't be stocked directly — only their components move through inventory. Variant materials need a specific offer chosen when stocking.
